Fortec Racing's Gimi Bruni ended the day two tenths down in second place. The Italian charger once again displaying his wet weather credentials. Bruni denied Antonio Pizzonia the 1999 Formula Renault Eurocup crown, maybe the young Roman can cause an upset in the form books. |
| Prost Junior Team leader, Nic Keisa, finished the session in six, although he was placed higher during the period when the track was at its driest. Keisa will be looking to net as many points as possible in the first two races of the 26 race season. With so many cars on the track the variables will be intense, but expect this young Dane to make the most of every opportunity. | ![]() |
In the Scholarship Class, Robbie Kerr headed the time sheets for the first time this year. Making his first appearance for his new team. Michael Keohane and Mark Mayall rounded out the top three in the junior class.
